WORKING AT HEIGHT
Working at Height is the biggest cause of major accidents in the workplace; therefore the risks need to be managed correctly.
This theory based course for managers and employees, is designed to give a general overview of the Working at Height Regulations, bringing existing legislation together into a risk based course, and is not specific to any one industry or environment.
Aim: To give managers and employees an awareness of the dangers of Working at Height and plan these activities in line with current legislation.

COURSE CONTENT
- Definitive guidance as to what is a working at height activity.
- The hazards involved in working at height and managing the risk.
- The planning required for working at height activities including rescue planning.
- Selection and use of the correct work equipment, and the communication required to maintain safety.
- Guidance on the information instruction and training required in working at height activities and the need for correct reporting procedures.
Duration: The duration of the course is ½ day for up to 10 students (See Training Info).
Venue: Can be carried out at our training school in Eastleigh or at an employer’s premises. (See Training Info).
Assessment: At the end of the course students will undergo a formal written test on all theoretical subjects covered.
Accreditation: LETS certificate
Cost: Dependant on course duration and attendees.
